Back to school night at Fudruckers

I am going to Round Rock with Paul tomorrow, so I thougt I should do a quick post with the Fudrucker gang. Gabe went to school on the 18th and we all celebrated at our back to school night at Fudruckers. I was glad we had a pretty good turn out considering most of the students are scattered to the far corners of the world. We missed everyone that couldn’t make it. I barely was able to be there, because I was in Paducah for the film festival, but I hurried back for the occasion. We had a new addition to the party with Nina. I hope she makes it a tradition with as many of us that can make it every year.

off to see the pup!

This is Crusher and me. He is wearing a Royals scarf that Brad and June sent him! He would be at home in Kansas City.

I went off to Eugene to see the pup, Crusher. I have worn him and me out by walking to meet Rachel after work. We even walked to a little cafe the other day for lunch. Everybody thinks he is adorable and he warms up to everybody quickly. Then we went over to Rachel’s work to meet all her friends. Travis brought us a bagel after his Yahoo work out. He said it was crowded downtown, because of Saturday Market and graduation. We are going to just veg out here today and then celebrate father’s day at the Winery. Wish us luck!! Do you think dogs can go to the winery?

Bea and Me

Bea

Everybody seems to be doing it! I wanted to take that arms length photo that has become so popular. I think this turned out pretty good.
This is Bea and Me after we took Seth to the airport to fly to Boston. She didn’t like it too much. She is my difficult child and doesn’t cooperate very well. I have some other photos on flikr

Easter Bunny?
This is for Aaron!!! It was impossible to get Bea to be a poser. I could barely get Max to get into the spirit.

An answer to Rachel’s response!

I had the best time of my life with the four of you kids!! It was all I ever wanted to do. Like they say, if you love what you do it is so easy to do it everyday.

Comment on this entry, and I will do my best to:

Tell you why I am friends with you.
Associate you with something – fandom, a song, a color, a photo, a word etc.
Tell you something I like about you.
Tell you a memory I have of you.
Ask something I’ve always wanted to know about you.
In return, you must post this to your own journal/blog.

This is going to take a while to complete, because I will probably be doing it on the way to work! I have work today and a class on Quick Books, so there are only two more responses.

Rachel,
I associate you with beauty, as in Art.
I like how your eyes sparkle. Do you remember when the Doc said your vision was good enough to be a jet pilot?
I always wanted to know if you had to have a job that required manual labor what would that be?
I remember when we dressed alike in those clothes we got from the zoo. That was fun.

Aaron,
I associate you with WOW, but not really, because I don’t play the game. I associate you with Bea!
I like how passionate you can be about things. Do you remember when the kids tried to tell you there was no Santa Claus?
I always wanted to know what would you have chosen to study in college if you had a million dollars?
I remember when you always ran on your toes, that is why we called you “twinkle toes”.

Bunnie for Obama

February 6th, 2008

bunnie-for-obama.jpg
This is for Aaron! Hey, we went to the Democratic caucus last night. It was a lot of fun and different then I expected. I thought we would go vote and leave, but no, we had to go to the section of the room that was designated for our canadate and wait to be counted. Way more people showed up than expected for the caucus and they had to end up closing the doors on a lot of people. It was very exciting! There was more than a thousand people there for Obama and about five hundred for Clinton. No they wouldn’t let bunnies in, but if they had we would have one more vote for Obama.

A new pup in the house!

Bruno with her rubber mushroom

This is why I haven’t done much of anything for weeks. I have a new pup my boys gave me for my birthday. I have no time anymore, except to take care of Bruno. I have to feed, walk and train her or she will run away. These are my favorite things. She is wearing her newsboy hat and has her rubber mushroom in her mouth.
